The Hungarian airline, Wizz Air, has announced that it will restart its flights from Bristol Airport to Katowice in Poland, during July 2020. This is the only flight the airline operates from Bristol Airport.
Wizz Air started flights from Bristol Airport in 2014 to a few destinations but this was eventually reduced to one route, with the uncertainty in the aviation world due to Covid-19 the team at Bristol Airport Spotting were unsure if Wizz Air were to remove route the Bristol route from its network, it has been confirmed that Wizz Air will be returning to Bristol Airport.
The news comes after easyJet and KLM announce the relaunch of international flights as well as Lufthansa and Lauda announcing that they wont be starting flights from Bristol Airport this year.
