Bristol Airport Spotting is pleased to announce that we will be holding another Spotters Day at Bristol Airport on Sunday 25th August 2019 within the administration building. This event will be the very last event held in the Bristol Room that many of you will have attended previously.
The building is due to be removed later this year so this is a very special last event for us in the building and at the airport and we are very privileged to be given access.
The event will take place on Sunday 25th August between 12.00 and 14.00.
The Spotters Day will be held in the Bristol Room within the Administration Building, also known as the old terminal. See map below for location.
Will parking be available?
Yes, free parking will be available in the Staff Car Park in Silver Zone on the south side of the airport, there is a courtesy bus that runs every 10 minutes from the Staff Transport Hub which is located in the car park and will take you to the admin building. You will be given a FREE car park pass on the day to prevent you paying for parking.
How do I attend the event?
The event has been limited to a maximum of 30 visitors, if you want to attend you will need to obtain a free ticket which will be available on Wednesday 14th August at 19.00. We are limiting tickets to 2 per booking and for ages of 13 upwards, this is to ensure it is fair and everyone gets to attend who wants to see the building and capture some aircraft photography.
Please note this will strictly be a first come first served event and tickets are expected to sell out fast.
How much will the event cost?
The event will cost £2.50 each and all proceeds will go to the airport charity of the year which this year is Great Western Air Ambulance, and we will also be accepting donations during the event.
Tickets will be available here on Wednesday 14th August at 19.00!
