Bristol Airport Spotting working with Bristol Airport held 3 spotters events during 2023, the events took place in April, July and October and we attended by 150 spotters across all events raising nearly £1000 for the Bristol Airport charity of the year which is British Heart Foundation.
Spotters of all ages and locations attended the events held on the roof terrace of the admin building, the terrace gives a unique view across the airport and a ringside view for arriving and departing aircraft. Visitors could watch aircraft line up and depart, land and taxi onto stand and observe the ground operations. Staff from the airport were on hand to answer questions on developments at Bristol Airport as well as issues with aircraft spotting and access.
The events for 2023 have now come to an end, we would like to thank everyone who came along and supported the event as well as thank Bristol Airport for their help and support with allowing these events to happen. We look forward to 2024 and further events taking place.
