The Bristol Airport Spotters Day 2018 is this Sunday 10th June! This update is to confirm the arrangements for the event.

Location:

The spotters day is being held in the Bristol Room within the Administration Building (Old Terminal) which can be found on the left hand side when entering the airport via the main entrance, turn left at the first roundabout and you will see the admin building then on your right:

Time:

The event runs from 11.00am until 15.00pm.

Talk:

At 13.00pm there will be an informative talk from the Bristol Airport Police covering subjects such as the current threat picture, hostile reconnaissance and some background information about the police role at the airport and how to contact them.

Parking:

Free parking is being provided by Bristol Airport, when entering the airport, turn left into the enter marked in red on the map above and park. On entrance to the spotters day you will be given a car parking ticket to allow you to exit without charge.

Refreshments:

The Wings Cafe will be open for the duration of the event serving hot and cold drinks and light refreshments.

Observations:

The long range weather forecast looks like runway 09 will be in use, this means that aircraft will taxi past the windows of the room after landing. Good views of aircraft departing will also be possible. The windows are clean and will allow good photography.

We look forward to seeing you at the event. If you have any questions or concerns please let us know by emailing info@bristolairportspotting.co.uk. Further information can be found on our website at https://www.bristolairportspotting.co.uk/bas-events/bristol-airport-spotters-day-2018/
