Lufthansa announces daily service from Bristol Airport to Frankfurt starting Spring 2020

Leading international carrier, Lufthansa, has further strengthened its commitment to the UK market with a new direct flight from Bristol Airport to Frankfurt Airport starting in Spring 2020, the flights are available to book immediately (30 October 2019) at lufthansa.com.

Commencing operations from 30 March 2020, Lufthansa will fly twice daily with return Economy fares starting from only £105 return.

The new service will operate twice daily six days per week and once daily on Saturdays, departing Bristol Airport (BRS) at 0935 and 1750 and arriving Frankfurt Airport (FRA) at 1210 and 2025 local time. Return flights depart FRA at 0820 and 1630, arriving BRS at 0900 and 1710 local time.

The service will run year round from 30 March 2020 using an Embraer190 and will enable multiple onward travel connections from FRA throughout Europe, the Americas and Asia Pacific. Travellers based in South West England will now have access to 2,886 weekly frequencies, spanning 177 destinations and 71 countries.

Complementing the recently announced Brussels Airlines service from Bristol to Belgium’s capital, this new route reaffirms Lufthansa’s commitment to growing in the UK.
