Bristol Airport Spotting launches dedicated page covering Bristol Airport’s 15MPPA Expansion Plans

Bristol Airport Spotting is pleased to announce the launch of a brand-new information page dedicated to Bristol Airport’s proposed 15 million passengers per annum (15MPPA) expansion plans.

The new page has been created to provide aviation enthusiasts, local residents, photographers, and travellers with a central hub for information regarding the airport’s future development proposals, including terminal expansion, infrastructure improvements, additional aircraft movements, and potential long-haul operations.

The dedicated page will be regularly updated as new information becomes available throughout the planning and consultation process.

Visitors can view the new expansion plans page here:

Bristol Airport recently submitted proposals to increase passenger capacity from the current 12 million passengers per annum to 15 million passengers per annum by the late 2030s. The plans include upgraded passenger facilities, improvements to transport infrastructure, additional aircraft stands, expanded terminal space, and the potential introduction of limited long-haul routes to destinations in North America and the Middle East.

The new webpage aims to make these proposals easier to understand by bringing together key information, updates, and future developments in one accessible location for the Bristol Airport community.

A spokesperson for Bristol Airport Spotting said:

“The expansion plans represent one of the biggest developments in Bristol Airport’s history. We wanted to create a dedicated resource where people can easily follow the latest updates, understand what is being proposed, and stay informed as the project progresses.”

Bristol Airport Spotting remains committed to providing the latest aviation news, spotting information, and airport developments for the South West aviation community.
