Bristol Airport Spotting, in collaboration with Bristol Airport, successfully hosted five aircraft spotters events throughout 2025. Held in May, June, July, August, and September, the events welcomed a total of 250 aviation enthusiasts of all ages. Collectively, attendees helped raise £1,773 in support of Bristol Airport’s Charity of the Year, the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity.

Each event took place on the roof terrace of the airport’s administration building, which offers a unique and elevated perspective across the airfield. From this exclusive vantage point, visitors enjoyed exceptional views of aircraft arrivals, departures, and ground operations, providing a true “ringside seat” to the airport’s daily activity.

Bristol Airport staff were in attendance at each event to engage with visitors, share updates on current and future developments, and discuss topics related to aircraft spotting and airport access.

With the arrival of shorter days and more unpredictable autumn weather, the 2025 spotting season has now come to a close. Bristol Airport Spotting would like to express sincere thanks to everyone who attended and supported the events, as well as to Bristol Airport for their continued cooperation and assistance in making these sessions possible.

We look forward to welcoming spotters back in 2026 for another exciting series of events.
