easyJet, Bristol’s largest airline, has today announced new routes from Bristol Airport to Reus and Thessaloniki, both launching in time for the peak summer season.
The new route to Reus in sunny Spain will take off on 25 June and operate twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays, perfect for a long weekend for those looking to explore the Catalan coast and birthplace of Gaudi.

easyJet recently celebrated carrying over 80 million passengers from Bristol Airport since the airline’s operations began there in May 2001 and the airline also launched four new routes for the winter season to Munich, Zurich, Venice and Verona.
easyJet offers 87 routes connecting Bristol to Europe and beyond.
Kevin Doyle, easyJet’s UK Country Manager, said:
“It’s great to be launching new routes from Bristol to two summer hotpots in Spain and Greece.
“These exciting new routes come following the recent launch of four new services that we announced for the start of the winter season. They also highlight our continued growth and investment in Bristol and commitment to providing customers in the South-west, with even more choice, connectivity, and great value fares.”
Rupert Lawrie, Commercial Director at Bristol Airport, said:
“We are delighted that easyJet continues to expand its network from Bristol with the addition of these exciting new summer routes to Reus and Thessaloniki. Both destinations are fantastic choices for holidaymakers, whether it’s enjoying tapas on the Catalan coast or soaking up sunsets by the Aegean, they offer the perfect summer escape.
“easyJet’s continued investment underlines the airline’s confidence in Bristol Airport and the strength of demand from the South West and South Wales region. We look forward to continuing our successful partnership with easyJet to deliver even greater choice for passengers, ensuring they can enjoy a wider range of destinations from their local airport.”
